Brent Collins is a senior consultant helping clients develop, deploy and scale purposeful tech solutions in rapidly changing markets. He works closely with civic leaders, enterprise solution providers and their teams to innovate new value paradigms, develop effective ecosystems, and manage complex risks that impact resiliency and sustainability. Brent guest-lectures at universities and conferences on exponential technology trends impacting urban centers. He has considerable AI experience, helping companies launch and scale new services leveraging Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Neural Language Processing (NLP), and Intelligent Process Automation. He co-founded of ai4biz.org, a non-profit AI community for business professionals in Southern California.

Brent was co-founder and CEO of SmartStops, a risk analytics business that grew worldwide in partnership with leading brokerages, banks and advisory services. He cofounded and directed SlowMoney SoCal, a non-profit providing funding and resources to the local, healthy food system sector. He previously worked at Hewlett Packard where he led various global marketing teams for businesses exceeding $6b in annual revenue.
